Quick urine-based pregnancy test.
This is a simple test that checks for the pregnancy hormone (hCG) in your urine. A positive result almost always means pregnancy; a negative result is reliable once you are at least a few days late.
It is the quickest, most affordable way to confirm pregnancy at home or at a clinic. For more accurate or earlier results, a blood beta-hCG is preferred — but the urine test is usually all that is needed.
Use the first-morning urine if possible — hCG is most concentrated then. Bring a mid-stream sample in a clean container.
