What this test checks

Measures cortisol at its natural morning peak. Used to evaluate adrenal gland function.

Why do people get this test?

Standard test for suspected Cushing's syndrome (high cortisol) or Addison's disease (low cortisol).

When you should consider this test

• Unexplained weight changes
• Persistent fatigue
• Suspected adrenal problem

How to prepare

Sample between 6-9 AM. Stay rested before the draw.
