We are proud to be a winner of the Code for Impact Hackathon in the Tech Innovation 2026 category, and a semifinalist for the 6-month incubation programme.

Code for Impact is a nationwide US–Nepal tech innovation hackathon supported by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal and led by Aadyanta Advisory. It brings together young innovators from all seven provinces to build real solutions in areas like health, education, and agriculture using ethical AI and human-centred design.

For our technology to be recognized here — and to move forward toward a structured mentorship and incubation phase — is a big step. It validates the platform we are building to make home healthcare more transparent, more accountable, and easier for families to manage.

Aashirbad Care was selected as a Top 25 startup at the US–Nepal Startup Weekend Challenge, organized by One to Watch. We were then chosen to progress into the Acceleration Programme.

This challenge received hundreds of applications from across Nepal, and only 25 teams were shortlisted. Over an intensive accelerator-style weekend, founders attended workshops on business fundamentals and received one-on-one mentorship from Nepali and U.S.-based experts.

Being chosen to continue into the Acceleration Programme means we get more guidance, more mentorship, and more support to grow Aashirbad Care responsibly — so we can reach more families who need quality care.

We were selected as a mentor at the Harvard Health Hackathon, organized by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health — Health Systems Innovation Lab (HSIL).

The HSIL Hackathon is a global event that brings together tens of thousands of participants across dozens of countries to design solutions that strengthen health systems — with a strong focus this year on using artificial intelligence to improve quality, access, and efficiency in healthcare.

Being invited to mentor at an event organized by Harvard is a humbling honour. It means sharing what we have learned building healthcare on the ground in Nepal, and giving back to the next generation of health innovators around the world.

Aashirbad Care was selected among the Top 20 at the NYEF Startup Awards 2026, organized by the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF) — one of Nepal's leading bodies for young entrepreneurs.

The NYEF Startup Awards is a premier competition and bootcamp for early-stage startups, built to grow Nepal's business ecosystem through exposure, mentorship, and investment. Being chosen among the top startups placed us alongside some of the most promising young ventures in the country.

For us, this recognition is about more than a ranking. It connects us to a community of mentors and fellow founders who share our goal of building businesses that make a real difference for people in Nepal.
